Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
While growing up in a Christian home , I remember accepting Christ at a young age. That said, I think that had more to do with what was expected than a “true understanding fo the calling Christ calls us as believers. That said, I remember the Lord really tugging on my heart at the age of 8 when I was at summer camp and believe that is when I accepted Christ. But since then I’ve had a life long journey of continuing to “learn” what it means to be a Christian. It is an active pursuit not a singular event.

Between my junior and senior year of high school I went on a 3 month missions trip to Brazil with 10 other kids I had never met. It was an incredible time that taught me a lot about the world that God has created, my faith and what that looks like in the context of another culture different from mine.
Being part of a “house church” network in Dayton, OH taught me about what “true community” means. Not something that is programmed that pushes “like” people together but rather a true cross-section of believers that had two things in common: (1) we lived within a 2-mile radius of one-another (2) had a desire to grow in our relationships with Christ. This allowed us to have impact in our neighborhood because we all lived together, ate together, saw one another throughout our days in almost everything we did.
Adopting my son was another area that was incredibly formative. It gave me a whole new perspective when the Bible says that we are, “adopted as sons and daughters.” As imperfect as my heart is and however prone to sin, I know how much I love my son, who is not genetically mine. I know the sacrifices I’ve made and would make to care for him. I also know this does not even come close to how my God thinks of me. WOW!
The divorce of my parents when I was 15 years old left me feeling incredibly alone. I made some really bad choices about what was important and how I was going to fill the hole that was left in my heart. But God in his infinite grace surrounded me with a lot of people who supported me, loved me, and prayed faithfully for me. In time, God tore through a lot of walls of pain I had built and ultimately grew me closer to him.
A horrific split of a church when my wife and I were first married that revealed the shear hideousness of the bride of Christ. A situation that pushed us to the absolute edge of the cliff of giving up on her. But again just when I needed it God surrounded me with people and used the experience to remind me that we are all imperfect. We all fall short. And he put us in a church family where we could begin to understand what “true community” was all about. I firmly believe this would not have been possible if we had first not been stripped of our preconceived notions.
When I was 13 years old I was in a horrific car accident and almost died. This experience taught me a lot about the brevity and fragility of life. As I’ve grown older it has also
