Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I grew up in a Christian home with very strict/spiritual grandparent and parents who were very influential in my life. I attended SS and church activities all my life and decided at age 10 to give my life to Christ and be baptized. I was active in many youth ministries both in our church and community and attended/graduated from a Baptist college.
church choirs in varies communities in Iowa
VBS teacher and leader in Des Moines, Centerville and Cedar Rapids, Iowa all in the 1970s, 80s and 90s
Youth group leader in Centerville, Iowa – First Baptist 1980s and 90s
Serving in the AWANA ministry in this church
Helping struggling children learn to become better students, have a love for themselves as a person, and become successful students as they were able to graduate from high school and some even go on to college or other training so they could become successful contributing members of society.
I taught calligraphy classes at a community college and saw how successful people could become with their skills. Also taught teachers in Brain Compatible Teaching Practices so they were better equipped to teach to all children not just the ones who were the smartest, but to ones who learned differently.
Adults who want and need to have control of everything and everyone in certain aspects of their lives. They leave a bad taste in my mouth and it happens right here at PV. To me they are control freaks and put others off by their actions and words. They should not be in leadership rolls.
People who do not have compassion for those who learn differently and are rude or unfair in their judgment of others.
Being taken for granted or judged because of something I have said or done that might be different from what people perceive to be the ‘right’ thing to say or do.
