Thank you Julie Greynolds for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
I accepted Christ at the age of 20. My now husband encouraged and guided me to be baptized.
Chapel in Green with Pastor Gary Underwood – attempted to lead a small group of women within our ABF – around 2003 when Green Campus opened – I failed miserably in this role.
I now count my father-in-law’s debilitating stroke at the age of 55 as a positive experience for me because I watched my mother-in-law and husband take care of him for 18 years. What a lesson in sacrifice and forgiveness!
Going to the same church as my grandparents when I was young. They gave me my first Bible. They encouraged me to go to Round Lake Church Camp.
Parenthood has shaped me. Watching our children grown into Christians that are bold in their faith makes me cry tears of joy.
My sister and her husband lost everything when his business failed. The whole situation is complicated, but going through this with them over the past decade has definitely shaped me.
My 16 year old niece spent most of last year trying to kill herself. This has been excruciatingly painful for us all. She has now been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and is starting to go to school again.
My parents divorced when I was about 8. They never spoke to each other again. The burden that placed on my sister and me has been challenging.
