Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I accepted Christ when I was three with my mother in one of my childhood homes; It is the earliest memory I have. Growing up I had a precious child-like faith. I would have dreams about Christ and church was my home. I feel that I have been blessed with this background because of my father who is in full time ministry and is currently the pastor of Cornerstone Church in Salida, Buena Vista, and Leadville. As I have grown up I have developed a more mature and strong faith. I have travelled to many countries on missions, lead youth groups, and sought after continuing to build the kingdom of God. The most powerful attribute that I have contributed to the body of Christ is my example of walking through and battling through sufferings. My church has watched me walk through family divorce, death in the family, car accidents that paralyzed my sister, and the remarriage of my parents. God continues to use my sufferings so that people can witness the hope God offers us.
Cornerstone church, Buena Vista, Colorado, 2005-2015
I worshiped alongside a passionate group of farmers in Navajoa Mexico. Seeing their passion for God and them dancing without restraint was an amazing example for me and how I should live my life. It was that night I shared my testimony that consisted of a constant beautiful love affair with Christ starting from three til now.
When I hiked Mount Kenya in June. It was a two day uphill hike in the cold rain. I was miserable, cold and hungry the entire time. However it was a total of three days in constant dialogue with God. I learned a lot about my future desires and impact that I want him to make in the world and how I want to be apart of it. I also learned the physical lesson that in times of suffering (physical or emotional) God is there, and he will help you make it to the top, and when you make it, it will somehow all be worth it.
In May of 2008 I was sitting in my car with a missionary from mexico after she was dropping me off from her sons birthday party. I told her of my passions to have amazing adventures and impact the world bringing all of heaven to earth. She asked if I wanted to be baptized by the Holy Spirit and at first I was nervous. What if it didn’t work? What am I to expect? I still said yes before I could overthink it because if it meant more equipping from the lord to do his work then I wanted it. So Miki prayed over me and it was like a yearning from my tummy erupted in words I didnt understand but I knew God did and I was demonstrating a connection to my citizen ship in heaven and now with the Holy Spirit I can be launched to do many many good works that he had prepared in advanced for me to do.
The Divorce of my parents tested my faith. From that experience I disgarded the unrealistic expectations that bad things dont happen to good christian families. I also learned how to adapt quickly to new situations and the power of having church family surround you and walk through hard times with you.
The car accident that lead to the death of my step mom and the impairment of my sister. I struggled to understand why God would not heal my sister and let her walk again. I learned how to submit to God’s will and wait on the Lord to create beauty from ashes.
Recently I had been deeply betrayed, rejected, and abandoned by the three people I trusted and loved most in this community. It launched me into an identity crisis. I had to under go drastic change in moving out of my once home, losing three relationships including a romantic one of two year that I was convinced would end in marriage. Abandoned and now completely alone I am rapidly discovering God has me where he wants me. There is not enough time to share all the incredible divine things the God of comfort is working in my heart but I look forward to sharing all the wisdom I have gained in this short month and the year to come.
