I’ve been a serious Bible student since about age 20.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I was given a leadership role and encouraged to develop the skill at age 30 by an important spiritual mentor. She revealed to me that I had strong leadership skills.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am middle born of five children, it has helped me develop people skills, relationship skills, empathy. Our father worked for the railroad and we moved often. This helped develop flexibility and being comfortable with getting to know and accepting all kinds of people. My dad also taught me to treat people from all walks of life with red. My mom and dad had a tumultuous relationship and divorced when I was 16. This traumatic and life changing event helped give me concern and empathy for others. I have a desire to see people grow in their very personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

1. Help my children.
2. Keep and influence my grandchildren.
3. Teach God’s word.
Moms of all ages.
We desperately need a family life, men’s ministry and women’s ministry Pastor in our church. All of these are falling through the cracks. I personally feel the reason families leave our church is because we are not purposefully engaged in Biblically equipping and training them in life skills.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I was raised in a Baptist denomination that was very high on Biblical knowledge but low on practical application. It had a strict, legalistic, judgemental teaching. No love, compassion or merciful overtones. I made a profession of faith at age 10 but didn’t come to understand until age 20 what that meant. I knew God was real and I believed His word was the inerrant gospel truth but I didn’t quite understand His love and mercy. The religious practice I was raised in made me feel condemned and judged by God. That He was just waiting to bring down the hammer on my head. I believed salvation could only be achieved with a lot of work on my part and a little forgiveness on God’s part. It took years of Bible study for me to really feel free, loved, forgiven and accepted by God. I realized that salvation is completely from God, planned and orchestrated by Him alone. Freedom comes with that revelation.
