[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love spending heart to heart time with the LORD…listening, learning, seeking, and finding Him.

2. I love spending time with my family…cooking together, hiking, sharing meals, making memories, having meaningful conversations.

3. I love bringing neighbors together, arranging gatherings, and praying for them.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I love working with “whatever it takes” kind of people whose hearts are fully engaged in bringing about the highest well being of others….unselfish, humble, and smart people who are willing to teach, share, and learn from others, don’t insist on their own way, and who highly value unity and harmony in the body of Messiah, those who are like-minded with Christ and with each other. Those who are more interested in combining strengths than in competing. Age doesn’t matter so much as the more important factors.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I have really enjoyed being a part of the compassion ministry…loving meeting and getting to know the homeless, and also working with at-risk children, as well as the “little, littles” who are just beginning their journey with Jesus.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

My parents took me to church as a newborn. I made my personal decision as a child when in children’s church to ask Jesus into my heart as a 5 yr. old child, and cannot remember a time when I didn’t love Him and that He didn’t already love me.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Royal Family Kids Camp counselor, and Advisory Team, Arvada Covenant Church, 8 yrs. Whiz Kids Tutoring, Denver, CO…Site Coordinator, and volunteer tutor, 15 yrs. Children’s Church Director, New Creation Church Glenwood Springs, CO. 2yrs.

Women’s Ministries President, Cheyenne First Assembly of God, Cheyenne, Wyoming, 2yrs. Worship Team member, 2 yrs. Sunday School Teacher, 3yrs.

Women’s Ministry Leadership Team Member, Church In The City, Denver, CO. 2yrs.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Being blessed to be a parent, and raise two healthy children in the ways of the LORD.

Having a godly heritage.

Being blessed within the family of God with positive relationships.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Going through joblessness, and underemployment.

Having several opportunities to walk through very tough situations with some of the families of the at-risk children I’ve tutored.

Having come through 3 1/2 yrs. of depression has given me compassion on those who experience the same things.
