Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
I was raised in a religious home, but we did not know Jesus Christ. When I was in College my parents started attending a Christian church and the Lord used my father and several other people to point me to the Lord. It was after we were married and we had made the decision to attend a Christian church that I was prompted by the Holy Spirit and responded to an altar call in October of 1985.
First Evangelical Free Church–Wichita, KS (Bible Study small group leader, Encouragement team leader for Pastor’s wife, Women’s Ministry Board,
Head of Hospitality for Women’s functions) From about 2007 (?) to December 2012
Other ministry experiences–led a neighborhood Bible Study for several years, served in various positions in Christian schools our children attended.
Community Bible Study–Hilton Head Island, SC–Core Group Leader (2018-2019), Class Coordinator (2019-2021), Committed for 2021-2022
The most impactful has been Bible Study–Bible Study Fellowship, Church Bible Studies, Community Bible Study, Bible Study with groups of friends, Accountability groups with close Christian friends.
Having Children has been an incredible blessing in my life and has impacted me in every way and grown me up in the Lord.
I received Godly counsel over the course of a couple of years.
Struggles in my family of origin and my own family.
