Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I was born in a Christian family and could not recall a moment in my life that I did not believe in Jesus Christ. When I was 25, I truly surrendered myself to the Lord. I am always a pot of clay and He is my potter. I am willingly to let Him shape me according to His will and totally trusting Him, for He loves me and knows what the best is for me. I trust His guidance and enjoy following His way. My heart’s desire is to let the treasure, the Holy Spirit, display His work through my jar of clay to glorify Him and for His kingdom’s sake.
Pianist (since grade 4 in many churches)
Organist (78-80 Montreal Anglican Church), Choir Conductor (78-80 Montreal Anglican Church).
Children and Teens Sunday School Teacher (From 87 till 2016 Toronto Chinese United Church, Richmond Hill Christian Community Church).
Students become faithful Christians to serve the next generation and join mission trips give me lots of encouragement not to give up even facing challenges while teaching them when they were young.
The life-change of inmates witnesses that God loves even the worst sinner in the world when he / she is willing to repent.
Parents told me that the parenting course is very helpful, even during the course, their parent-children relationships have been improved. I praise the Lord for using me, a retiree, to mend broken relationships through His love.
Jealousy in church teaches me to humble myself. I need to learn from John the Baptist, “He must become greater; I must become less.” (John 3:30)
Challenging authority is tough. I learn to be patient and wait for the Lord to reveal the truth to the authority. In the mean time, I comfort those who are being hurt through my experience.
Being excluded or discriminated can be hurtful. If God closes the door, don’t need to open it forcefully; look for other opportunities to serve Him faithfully. Encourage those who are being rejected and provide opportunities for them to glorify God in whatever way pleases the Lord.
