S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Katie Grass for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love encouraging people and helping them succeed. I love playing a role in other people’s success. I am always encouraging people to never settle, to always be the best they can be.

#2 Gift, Mercy Showing (75%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I believe I am a forgiving person. I know that not everyone comes from the same situation, and I feel for people who were not set up in life with the tools that I was.

#3 Gift, Evangelism (62%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love sharing situations that God has truly saved me. For example, the first time I experienced a panic attack.. it was constant anxiety for 2 months straight, it was terrifying… I kept praying and begging God to help me.. I was so scared I was going to be stuck like this forever. I prayed, opened the bible.. and EVERY page I turned to it seemed like the one thing that jumped off the page to me was “This too shall pass”

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was always around my best friend Hannah and her mom, Denise. I constantly noticed how happy she was, it wasn’t just a normal happy, it was something different and I wanted that. I began going to church with them and actually was saved by Denise, in my best friends room.
