Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I am a preacher’s kid… although I did not just inherit my faith , I have delved deeper into discipleship than my parents by being a life long learner. I continue to look for answers to how we can walk, talk, and act more like Jesus. I had an awakening in middle school from a willing oung seminary student who volunteered to take over the “bad” class of middle school youth. After a foot washing ceremony to demonstrate that he was willing to be a servant to our class , I knew the Holy spirit was in our presence as we finally saw discipleship not authoritarian mandates as the true meaning of being a Christian.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Richmond District Youth Council, 4 years , District Youth retreats representing Welbourne UMC Richmond Va; Vacation Bible school, Christmas and Easter productions, youth leader for XKC ( Extreme Kids for Christ 5-8 graders) Huddle bible study group, 4 years at Laurel Weslyan Church Laurel, DE ; building construction team /council Gethsemene UMC Seaford , DE 1 year

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

receiving Christian counseling after separation/ divorce to lead me to find the good and God’s purpose for not being unequally yoked and learning improved boundaries

attending Mission of Hope Haiti with Youth and seeing the need for my limited (but helpful) French language skills and the health care needs of the people that I have sooo much experience in

attending spiritual conferences from days of RDYC annual weekends and week long summer discipleship conferences and going to Women of Faith gatherings or Christian music concerts

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

filing protection from abuse orders with the family court systems

obtaining mental services for my daughters

attending families anonymous activities
