Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I gave my life to Christ when I was very young (around Junior High age), but I didn’t really understand what it meant. I gave my life again and was re-baptized after my son was born, and now I do know what it means. I’m so thankful Jesus died for me and everyone in this world so that we may receive his grace, love and eternal life!

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

First United Methodist Church, Ormond Beach, FL – assisted my husband in teaching ALPHA for appx. 4 years.

Salty Church, Ormond Beach, FL – assisted my husband in teaching ALPHA for appx. 3 years.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Going through many years of my husband getting sober made a big impact on who I am today.

My dad and I didn’t have a good relationship when I was growing up, but then he was diagnosed with dementia and I handled the majority of his care until his death 4/28/18. Our relationship was mended during that time and I’ll always be grateful for the impact it made on my life.

Giving birth to my son Andrew made a huge impact on my life of becoming a mother.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Going through many years of my husband getting sober, including me going to Alanon for four years, helped shape me and gives me great compassion for others going through similar circumstances.

I have been divorced twice, but I feel that GOD gave me my current husband to help me understand what true love is and what it means to work through whatever trials come our way (and there have been many)!

I had a massive stroke June 2, 2016 and GOD healed me. I have great compassion for people going through similar circumstances and know GOD can heal them too!

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. For my son Andrew to know and love GOD and to make him #1 in his life!

4. Ensure funding to find cures for all types of strokes…

5. When it comes to our government, I would like to see the divide between so called Republicans and Democrats come to a cease and everyone just vote for the person(s) qualified for the job(s).
