S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Kelly Coble for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I see the good in everyone and anyone and see no division in people from looks, to where they grew up or how they think. Everyone is Gods children and I want to encourage people to see themselves in that positive light. People should get to experience the joy of knowing God is in us and we are capable.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Again, I see the good in everyone and the division lines that others see I do not. I know there is a reason someone is sick or hurting and I can empathize knowing there’s a fine line of them being born in that spot verse me. I have my own flaws that they may be blessed not to have. People have to see the bright spots and I want to help them. I want them to understand when they don’t there is no judgement.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I enjoy fellowship and working alongside others. I like the organization of it and spend my days at work managing many different things and feel as though it’s a skill of mine to help connect people to things places and groups.
[H]eart
1. Exploring new places and things and sharing the excitement of that with others.
2. Absolutely anything that I can do that makes others laugh or smile or lets them drop some weight off their shoulders is pure joy for me.
3. Working with children in hands on outdoor, exploring type sceneries and watching them grow, experience and be molded is a majorly blessed feeling.
7 years -70 years; I enjoy working with anyone that maybe grew up different than I. I find a joy in learning something from a new culture to someone who grew up in a different style family or neighborhood. The more types of people the more merrier, everyone has a story and I always want to hear it.
I have spent years wanting to go on a missions trip to be able to see the truth or the differences in what we were born into in America. I think the youth programs excite me knowing there is a base here that is exciting and drives the children to want to come back. The outreach groups of recovery are a huge part of my joy growing up in a recovering family of AA.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
When I was younger I found a church that I would get rides from a friends parents with to go. I found joy in the community of the church and the serving aspects, from volunteering at the recycling area for the town to helping with small things at church. It gave me a wonderful base of what God has given us. I strayed away for a while and when looking for a church did not feel the joy spirit as strongly until I found Grace. In my walk through this church I came postpartum, extremely scared lonely single mother to a few month old baby. The experience God has shown me in the challenges he presented for me being a single parent and being a mother gave me the opportunity to see Gods work in action. This experiment along with the tools Grace church has given me makes me be the strongest believe I ever thought possible. I continue to grow and am very eager to see all the work God has and will continue to do for myself, all my loved ones and more.
The birth of my daughter
My brother and his addiction fighting his battle
The struggle of the single mother with no family and no fincail support. Alllll the crazy miricals that happened when I was one inch from failure each time being brought to my feet by our father saving me.
Book smart is not on the top of my list. Growing up I worked 100 times harder for the smallest things to get my good grades. I always felt stupid and I would never want someone to feel stupid or down on themselves for just having different qualities that make them great.
I’m the stereotypical single mom you would never expect yourself to be. I have been judged on it and I would never judge another even if it is an obvious situation they could have kept themselves out of. We all make mistakes, it’s only some of us who wear it every day as a visible reminder, others don’t always make mistakes people can see and judge on.
I live in a family of addiction, from alcohol to meth, and I grew up learning about AA and alonon. I spent years waiting my turn to turn myself in for my alcohol addiction and finally did it 6 months ago.
Wrapping It Up
The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?
1. My Relationship with GOD
2. My Relationship with Others
- Putting Your Spouse First
- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. Going on missions trips, many of them, possibly living in an area for extended time where help is most needed.
4. Having a place for community of Christ followers and recovering addicts to gather and feel the restaurant presence that one would without the acolhol. To have a place for football games and karaoke and dancing that was strictly with Gods heart and ways.
5. To run a kids camp where they sleep over in cabins and get to experience multiple outdoor activities and interactions with animals and grow lifelong friendships
