S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Kerrie Pollard for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

[H]eart
1. I love the new season of being a Nanny and well as a mother.
2. I Love Bible College and the regular input and hands on training I am receiving.
3. I love being flexible with my time to be able to catch up with people.
I generally get on well with anyone, I do like a mix of males and females to help bring a good balance. I think working with all young people would frustrate me. I also love working where the environment is fun as well as productive.
My concern would be that we are willing to look at the length of our services on a Sunday that they are reasonable in regard to the effect of time on kids workers. Is this a barrier for people volunteering? Are we looking at the overall picture of everything that happens on a Sunday.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
I grew up in a Christian home. Meet the Holy Spirit about 16 years ago where I responded to an invitation at Macquarie Life Church and became born again.
Macquarie Life Church 2003-2004 Women’s ministry, Kid’s ministry and life group leader.
Real Life Church 2004-2009 Life group oversight, Church planting team, Church finance manager, Pastoral care team, New Christians team, Logistic team leader and Elder.
Looking back on what I have been involved in, I have been given a broad view of church.
It has helped me discover what things I was anointed to do and recognize the difference when I was put into a position where there was a need, but not really my fit.
I think the most positive experience is that I’ve always had a love for the church and church planting and it has encouraged me by the broad experience that God provided for me. Also it has given me a greater appreciation of Pastors and a small glimpse into what they carry.
I have struggled to be myself as I have had some negative experiences where I was critiqued in love, but it was founded I felt on personal opinion, which caused me to have compassion on anyone that leads from the front, and receives comments from others, that internal pressure on someone.
Having been put in an area that you feel is expected of you, but is not really you. Which goes hand in hand with being used because you may be the only choice. Compassion for others that may feel frustrated, but need to serve the need.
Also, being involved in too many areas, but feel that you’ve lost your passion due to overload. Compassion for people that are in this situation.
