Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

There wasn’t any “defining” moment that I can look back on and say that was the specific event. I was raised by a Christian mom and I was around the church on a regular basis from the time I was a 7 or 8 years old. I was fortunate to have a number of great mentors that inspired me to deepen my journey with God. Several of them are still part of my life today.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Prior to attending Grace Community Church, I was raised in the Presbyterian church. During those years I was involved in many different aspects of the church ministry and leadership. At Westminster Presbyterian Church (Boardman, OH) I served as a youth leader and Sunday school teacher.

During my years locally at Cranberry Community United Presbyterian Church(CCUPC) in Cranberry Twp., PA, I served in various capacities. I, again, served in a youth leadership and Sunday School teacher role along with other roles such as serving on the Board of Deacons, Board of Elders (church Session), and as the chairman of the capital campaign that raised the necessary funds to build a new church addition. During my time at CCUPC I even had the privilege of giving the Sunday sermon on a couple of occasions.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Meeting my wife when I was 15 years old and having 43 incredible years together. She was an inspiration and unbelievable influence in my life.

Playing competitive sports taught me valuable lessons about teamwork and overcoming setbacks and failures. I was blessed to be able to play 3 sports all through high school (football, basketball and baseball) and earn a college scholarship for baseball.

The birth and subsequent raising of our two daughters. I learned how to better love and serve unconditionally. Through the past 30 years I have been so thankful in God’s guidance as I can see the result in our parenting efforts. I now enter the next phase as I will become a grandfather later this year.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

The recent death of my wife.

The loss of my job while raising our children.

While living at home with my parents, each year we bought Thanksgiving dinners for several families that could not afford to provide for themselves. We delivered the meals individually to each family’s home where I saw how tough life was for these folks.
