Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up as an unbeliever until my teen years, when my mother became a Christian and I rebelled against that. It took another 5 years or so for me to make a commitment to Christ as an early school leaver, through the intervention of a friend of my mothers.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I was never afforded the opportunity to study, as both my parents were retrenched n the same month, I had just started at Uni. I decided to leave and get a job and made myself responsible for the wellbeing of the family. This taught me to learn and adapt quickly. I have a hunger for understanding the way things work and this has helped me grow.

A second marriage to a man who truly cherishes me has helped me deal with some of the negatives in my life. A solid commitment, no matter what.

Immigration to NZ has been a breath of fresh air for us in many ways, even though the journey has been filled with stress and challenges, we have grown and definitely seen God’s hand move.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

As a survivor of sexual assault as a teen, I have great compassion and understanding for other woman in similar positions. It has taken me 35 years of learning and dealing with issues, similar to peeling away the layers of an onion.

Divorce has helped me face some aspects of myself and the results of poor decisions made in my past. Dealing with ex-spouses has been a crushing experience and yet it has helped me in dealing with difficult people on a daily basis

My brother only brother is a drug addict and having experienced many years of how they can impact a family, steal from you and destroy your relationships, it has helped me to understand them, to see them as they are and also to practice boundaries and the concept of tough love.

  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those
