Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Was at a low in my life after a DCFS experience and depression diagnosis. We moved back to Virginia and started attending a Vineyard church that my bff and husband attnded when we were stationed there last. Did an Alpha class at that Vineyard church in early 2004 and was saved during that course.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Peninsula Vineyard Christian Fellowship, Yorktown, Virginia 2006-2008
Event Coordinator (head of planning parties/events at small church)

Heart For The World Christian Fellowship, Las Cruces, New Mexico 2008-2011
Made cakes for and served at homeless park ministry, hosted a few home group sessions (Alpha, The Truth Project)

Vineyard Christian Church, Virginia Beach, VA 2013-2015
Served one Saturday per month in the church food pantry

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

The all embracing love and acceptance I experienced at my first church that led to my salvation.

The mentorship relationship I had with a friend who helped lead me through a lot of personal healing from past pain/trauma.

Taking control of my health in 2007 and again in 2011 that led to a lot of weight loss and personal strength/growth as I dealt with the issues behind the eating.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Having child services called on me during a time where my life was kind of falling apart which led to the diagnosis of my depression.

Regaining all the weight [I had lost] during a difficult time (sea tour), struggling again with my eating after making such a healthy change. I went from feeling strong and in control to completely out of control again with my health goals.

Dealing with special needs evaluation/diagnoses/treatments alone while my husband was stationed overseas, bringing on great amounts of anxiety.

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Support group for those struggling with eating/compulsive behavior
