[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Create! I love creating things with my hands. Sometimes they turn out better than I had imagined and other times…well let say no one ever sees the end result.

2. Encouraging people to be the best they can be or at least understand that God is our creator and He never makes mistakes. He brought each of us into the world for His purpose…His plan.

3. Spending time with my family! Love how we have been blessed.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Women that struggle with who they are in Christ. Those that are in nursing homes or hospitals and have no family to visit them.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I worked for our old church for 13 years as support staff, office manager, payroll, data entry, book keeping, etc… I was good at what I did but my favorite parts were the people that came through the office door (sometimes it was hard). I got to pray with them, find resources that could benefit them with life needs.

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

My ex-husband left me and 2 small children and my friend asked me to go to church with her…I did but it was when my son took me to church with him that I really became a Christian.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

The birth of my children has been the greatest gift and blessing. I know they truly belong to God but He blessed me with them here on earth.

Having a Pastor that truly loved his staff as family and would take whatever time needed to guide us and teach us about loving the body of Christ.

Forgiving my mother and realizing that she loved me the best way she knew how

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My mother did not want another child and she told me that often – she was verbally and physically abusive.

I was molested in my home by one of my ex-husbands friends.

My daughter was diagnosed with JRA at age 5. The residual affects on her still challenge her (all of us really) daily.
