Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Born into a Lutheran pastor’s family; baptized in Christ at one month old. Sunday school and church were my earliest experiences and time spent in Lutheran school cemented my Christian experience. Years spent in church and serving in church and a life time teaching in a Lutheran school kept me grounded in my faith.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Bronx, NY (16 years) teacher and Director of Music.
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Providence, RI (3 years) teacher and Director of Music.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (3 years) teacher and Director of Music.
First Lutheran Church (2 years) teacher and director of music

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (21 years) teacher and Director of Music

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

the Christian teachings of my father and mother in my childhood and youth; growing up in a parsonage and being a PK.

Singing in the Bronxville Tour Choir for two years while in college.

teaching and working with children from Kindergarten through 8th grade

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

a husband who lost his job and we had 4 children to support; taught me that God had a plan for our lives and that he was in control of them

a husband who was arrested and lost his job; again God had a plan for our lives that gave us hope and a future.

a husband who is now incarcerated for 14 years. Waiting to view God’s plan for my life here in Nebraska.
