S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Kira Haynes for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I know and I am incredibly for how far I’ve come through the mercy and goodness of Jesus. I literally would not be alive if not for His saving grace, so why wouldn’t I share how GOOD He really is. Why wouldn’t I share why He is father who saves, is loving, and WANTS to help and watch you succeed in every area of your life? Everyone needs to know who our Father for who He truly is, and I am willing and delightfully wanting to share that for as long as I possibly can.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have a strong conviction and passion to see the mine and the next generation see and know how loved, worthy, and valued they really are, especially in the eyes of our Lord and Savior. Letting someone consistently know and believe that they are loved and cherished is a BASIC HUMAN NEED that the world continuously neglects. We are in unfeeling generation who’s society wants to instill that vulnerability is just another word for weakness and that you should perfectly content in life if all your physical and worldly needs are being met on a regular basis. Well, I am here to set that record straight because we are meant to give and receive love. We are meant to know God because He is love and to know Him is to know what love truly is and practice it in a healthy way. If we can begin instilling this in ours and the next generation of believers, we will begin a revolution of change in our world intended to know and glorify the Kingdom of God.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
In Luke 16:10 it states that “if you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in larges ones.” I am honored when I get to serve in God’s house and do the tasks that many would deem as menial and/or unimportant. You know why? Because I GET to. I have the privilege, sacrifice, and honor to serve in His house by cleaning the bathrooms. I have the privilege, sacrifice, and honor to serve in His house by organizing a volunteer roster or checking in/hosting people who are new to the church. I have the privilege, sacrifice, and honor to serve in His house by leading team meetings or making sure everyone knows what their task is to complete. I have the privilege, sacrifice, and honor to go and help out wherever my leaders need me to go and do. I have the privilege, sacrifice, and honor to serve in His house period, so I will be faithful to whatever He is given me so that I may ultimately glorify His name.

1. My first love has always been writing whether it be prayers, goals, aspirations, or stories. Writing/journaling was my refuge before I was saved. It gave me a voice that I was never given by the world. It gave me a safe place to feel allowed to be vulnerable. It gave me a place to feel and be seen before I knew that God always saw me.
2. I have the greatest passion for children, teenagers and the next generation. I have always wanted to create an atmosphere of love, acceptance, worth and value for them because I was deprived of that for the better part of my life. I want to bring them to know Christ because He created them for a purpose; He saw them first; and He loved them before they even existed. If I and the rest of Christianity can begin instilling these truths in them at an early age, we can decrease the rise on depression, suicide, anxiety and other mental illnesses. We can increase a more love-filled society that embraces authenticity and vulnerability in a world that despises that. We can create a better society filled with the goodness of God.
3. I have a heart for sharing how much the Lord has done in my life and how much He can do in others as well. I want to share with the world who REALLY God is, what He says about them, and what He can do.
The people I love to work with the most are the God-fearing people that I get to do life with as well as serve alongside within my Church. They are the type of people that make you laugh so hard that you stomach cramps to the core, while at the same time tug at your heartstrings because that’s the amount of love and honor you have for each other.
My biggest issue within the Church is the stigma it still places upon mental illness. If we are dealing with some kind of mental illness at any capacity, it does not mean that we’re not spiritual enough. Being unwell in mental health is NOT a sin, is NOT a weakness, and is NOT our identity. It’s ok not to be ok. God just wants us all to live life abundantly, and I strongly believe that Churches need to be shining the brightest light on this topic.

[E]xperience
Since I was in the 8th grade, I have gone through severe depression and anxiety. It became so bad to the point where I had consistent panic attacks and the hardest thing for me to do was getting out of bed. At my lowest during my senior year of high school, I decided I did not want to live anymore and was on the verge of ending my own life. As soon as this action was about to take place, I finally took an old friend’s advice that she’d been trying to drill in my brain for the longest time but I willfully ignored her, I felt the sudden urge to try crying out to God. I prayed to be free of these painful feelings that my mental illness managed to disease within and asked for Jesus to come into my life. I asked for the Holy Spirit to come inside me and free me of it all. The minute I let everything go and completely surrendered, I felt the presence of God rush all over me. It felt like someone poured an entire bucket of water on my head and I began to feel to completely renewed. From the moment on, I made the decision to live, but not for me and definitely not for other people. I decided to live to know and have a relationship with Jesus from that point moving forward. I am still making that decision today, and is forever the best one I’ve ever made.

Losing many friendships during my high school career, but realized that those relationships were toxic and I need to learn how to love others in a healthy way
Began experiencing emotional abuse and neglect from my parents but it made me realize that my parents did the best they could with the cards they were dealt
Let myself miss out on a lot of good opportunities because I was too afraid to leave my comfort zone but along the way I’ve learned that we are all called to lead uncomfortable, purposeful lives and doing things even though we’re afraid
