I’ve never had this result register on my gifts tests until now. I can see the evidence of it very clearly as I’ve been functioning in pastoral/shepherding roles with a lot of the people i’m looking after and encouraging right now.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Worship. Worship through song. Showing people who God really is through music and allowing others to experience His real, tangible amazing love during worship. I want people to know His Spirit intimately and be desperate for Jesus everyday. Music for me is how I love to reach people.

2. Seeing people step into and operate in their giftings. I want people to function in their strengths and giftings. I love seeing that. I may not always be great at getting that person there but once they’re in the will of God for their lives I love seeing them functioning in that.

3. Having time to spend doing nothing. Recharging, not thinking or having to work hard at something all the time. I love my own space but not for too long. I love being still and not having to be on the go all the time.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Probably people my age, young adults. I know I don’t like working with children or youth. Anyone older than me are great but probably young adults.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Worship team of course. I love life group. I love it when the teaching of the Word is very interesting and in depth, poetic and inspiring.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in church with a Christian family who always served and was in leadership. 2010 was the year I fully yielded everything to Jesus after 12 months of heartache and trial and I began my journey discovering the will for my life. I stepped into my giftings in worship and started to grow up in God.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Just this church

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My parents modelling correct living through the Word including knowing the Holy Spirit and recognising His Presence.

The influence of mentors, encouragers, pastors continually believing in me as I grew into my calling.

My ability to say yes to God and no to anxiety has completely changed who I am today and what I do.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Years of fighting and suffering from anxiety and at times depression and low self esteem.

An unhealthy relationship in high school that ultimately led to me fully yielding to God.

The uncomfortable times of waiting for a husband. Because I experienced many years of the waiting season i’m passionate about encouraging others that being single is still amazing even when it’s uncomfortable.
