My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Brought up in a pentacostal church as a young adult so I have always had a desire to serve the Lord as long as I can remember

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I lost my almost 18 year old Son to Leukemia in 2003 and it took me almost 9 years to stop being upset with God. I stopped going to church for most of those years and felt lost, but my faith wouldn’t let go of me. Very thankful to have found Park Valley and know Jesus is in control.

Becoming a grandmother impacted my life in a big way

I always had my Mother’s strong faith to guide me. She passed away in 2008 and I feel like I am turning into her now a days with my faith and determination to serve Jesus.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Again, I have to list the death of my Son. It forever changed me in the worst way possible and now the best to give me such great compassion

The death of my Mother

Just this past year was a very rough one of me. I was furloughed in May and then my position was terminated in November, but through it all God brought me out stronger and he blessed me beyond compare!
