Nothing I have is mine..I believe it’s all the Lords, so it is hard for me to turn the other cheek when seeing others in need.

I am drawn to difficult situations in order to “undo” the mess. I like to strategize implementing efficient processes. I guess I am systematic when it comes to administration/organization.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

This varies… I love working with younger kiddos (toddlers) especially serving w BSF. I also enjoy my older neighbors and those who have more life experience. I love hearing people’s (life) stories

Missions excites me. Kids ministry and effectively teaching our kids God’s Word is near to my heart. I believe it’s important to strike the right balance of engagement while also incorporating solid Biblical teaching.

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was mentoring a young boy who I would drop off at church when the Holy Spirit grabbed my heart and told me I needed to stay. Eventually I did and was saved and baptized in that church.

Food Pantry-helped me to understand how poverty affects people. Also took training on understanding poverty

Attending ethnically diverse churches has given me real life experience with people who are different than me

Growing up with a stepfather who was bi-racial helped me to better understand the struggles of people of color
