S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Keri Kellam DJ Double K for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Pastoring/Shepherding (87%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
i walk beside people daily that are suffering, struggling, sad, lonely, etc…and try to guide them in the right direction with prayer and His truths about them. When I first started at South Bay I had women do the same for me when I was at my lowest so now I feel blessed and equipped to be able to do the same.

#2 Gift, Evangelism (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I work for FCA so I am constantly sharing about who Christ is and what He has done for me. I believe that because it is a part of my job and i have had to do it so often that it has just become natural to me no matter where i am.

#3 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I know how a positive word can change a negative situation. I always cheer on my parents, local students/coaches, my husband and girls…so once again, it comes naturally for me to (want to) encourage others.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. FCA camp. I love getting away with students and FCA staff..unplugging from every day life. spending the weekend sharing the gospel, encouraging them, training them, laughing, worshiping and having competition.

2. Going on adventures with my girls. Love to be out making memories with them.

3. Serving. Whether I am greeting at church. Serving at the Grocery Giveaway. Playing music at Womens Ministry. Picking up trash at a park. Bringing a meal to a new mom. I enjoy loving on others and making our community a better place.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Students: High school girls and college aged male and female.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I’m concerned for our juniors and seniors that feel they arent getting enough out of our youth ministry on wednesday nights. not many are being used as leaders…but are being led.
I love how the church body gets out and serves the community…i would love to see care groups pick a service project. for womens/mens/youth ministry to do something together outside of the church walls to serve as well. we can do more if we go out in small groups.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
