My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Came to Christ as a sophomore in college. My RA challenged me to read the gospel of John over Christmas break. Prayed to receive Christ upon my return after discussing my reading with several friends

served at The Chapel in Akron and Green over the last 40 years as a 3rd grade Sunday School, Choir member and small group leader in Women’s Ministries

Attending U of A and having access to strong Biblical Teaching at The Chapel

Meeting a U of A football player who became my husband and spiritual mentor nearly 41 years ago.

Adopting and raising our son and standing back and watching him repeat the process with his family

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

eating disorder as a teen

infertility

caregiver of my husband as he fought Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma
