S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Wendy Leeder for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. #1 Gift, Evangelism (93%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have facilitated many Bible Studies and really enjoy it. I enjoy one on one conversations about God and what real world faith looks like and is in the lives of believers have a deep desire to work in the mission field.

#2 Gift, Prophecy (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
This refers to discernment I think. I am usually pretty good at seeing someone or a situation as something it is not. When things are being presented in an untrue way I can usually spot a problem. I am a pretty good reader of people and can pretty quickly see when something is “off” A manipulative spirit is often not to hard to spot.

#3 Gift, Teaching (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Encouragement-I am a sinner, and so are you! By my life experiences I should be far from the Lord and walking a very different life. God saved me, he healed many of my hurts. He has walked with me and brought me through unimaginable pain. There is hope for our hurts and healing, you will always have scars, but they add character and something interesting to talk about right? I generally am completely open, I don’t keep parts of myself a secret from others, here I am, this is me. But I don’t lack tact either. I love sending cards and notes of encouragements. Texts and memes to let people know I’m thinking of them and praying for them.

Teaching- I enjoy it! Love the interaction with women and the sharing of ideas and knowledge

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. spend time with my friends
I love pouring in to one anothers lives and keeping up. Doing life together. Praying for each other, having God discussions or just talking. LAUGHING

2. Being active in my church and studying Gods word. I enjoy group settings and getting to know people, which leads to one on one. I have no problem leading as in presenting, speaking in front of a large group of people.

3. I love gifting to others. Baking, or cooking, crocheting things that say I appreciate you. I enjoy making gifts instead of buying them.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I enjoy my peers or the elderly. I do ok with kids once I get going. I dont enjoy kids crying in the church service or running in the sanctuary or halls even after the service.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I like to lead Bible studies and women through laid out programs or studies. Not sure I would be qualified to lead something not laid out by someone much wiser than me. I like to serve in the kitchen for church events.
World Missions excites me most. Getting info to the body on what God is doing!! He is moving, we need to educate and let the people know. Their $ their prayer are needed!! The great commission is ours to fulfill!! Less than $1 from every $100K made in the church goes to world wide missions this is WRONG!!! In America we have so many programs available, people need to utilize them. Maybe we need to help them do that. Internationally there are no programs, no aid. People are starving to death right now because of covid restrictions. Get on it people! Our lives are not worth any more than theirs. Get that mask off and let God be in charge of you. Our fear and arrogance is killing people! Let things open up, if we die, we die!

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
