S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Kristen Hudson for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

[H]eart
1. Learning–I love to have time to study, meditate, journal, pray, read…
2. Teach–I love having the opportunity to teach others about concepts and subjects that I am passionate about. I love to design curriculum, presentations, etc to get the message out in the best way possible.
3. Organize/Plan/Set Goals/Monitor Achievement- I love to look at the big picture and create a vision for individual lives, businesses, organizations, groups. I love to set long and short term goals (as a group and individually) and help people to be accountable for and achieve them.
Several things come to mind:
Children with disabilities (ABA therapy–which is working towards very specific goals and monitoring the procedures used, success, etc)
Children (ages 2-7) to work towards achieving specific goals (reading, math goals especially)
Young adults (ages 17-24)
Couples (from ages 21-40) (for marriage ministry) (I’m not opposed to working with couples older than me, it’s just a little bit more intimidating b/c their life experiences obviously surpass me)

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
I was always raised in church, but was officially “saved” at Church Camp when I was 8 years old. I was teaching children’s church and writing a church newspaper in middle school, part of a Christian singing group in high school.
Marriage Ministry Director, One Life, currently
Sr. Sharon (my college advisor and professor)–She instilled true passion in me, encouraged me in every possible way to do big things, gave me the confidence to know I could, held me accountable, fed my innate drive, etc.
Marrying Jack–he encourages me, builds my confidence, and challenges me to continue to grow in every way
Having Mark as a spiritual mentor–revived my spiritual life, developed new growth and desire, instilled passion/wisdom, holds me accountable, encourages me, provides prayer and wisdom
Divorce- ugly relationship, deep hurts
Losing Emma/Infertility
