This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My heart has been changed by the Holy Spirit and therefore I have changed. I am outspoken about how God, through Jesus has affected me personally and hope to get others to see how this could happen for them as well. Through the coming of Christ we have been saved.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am a naturally optimistic person. I like to encourage people to see the good of what is happening or look at the underlying reasons to make positive changes. The power of what God has to offer has everything to do with how our life ultimately turns out. Our spiritual relationship with God then permeates into every aspect of our lives bearing the fruit of the spirit.

[H]eart

1. First and foremost I have been entrusted with two children who I feel I have the responsibility to raise them to figure out their God given gifts and grow them in God’s word.

2. Community, there is a great need in the community to show others what God has done for me and how he can do that for them as well by being God’s light. I love to build relationships with people and give them God’s perspective.

3. I love to use my creativity to honor God.

I love ALL people.

I currently serve in the HUB and feel like I am able to talk to a variety of people and really enjoy that.

My most valuable asset is also my biggest fault, which is planning which also leads me to overthink. Another thing is relating to others.

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My mom and dad brought me to church as a child but didn’t teach me how to live a Christian life. When I had my first child I felt pulled to come back to the church. I started going to Crosswalk and by becoming a regular attender my heart has been forever changed.

My relationship with my Grandpa who has past was a major pillar in how my spirituality has formed.

In college I majored in Psychology and Biology so I can understand things from a mind/body perspective.

Serving and being apart of other Growth Groups has helped me grow in my confidence in Christ.

I had an abusive relationship in high school over the course of 5 years.

Which led to making poor choices in college.

My parents had a bad relationship which created a negative home environment.
