S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Katie Spotz for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel I have developed a deep well of empathy for others because of the struggles I witnessed from my parents with depression and addiction, and my own struggles with the same issues. I have 15+ years experience in non-profit work, and this is also where I have gained more understanding about the needs and challenges others face.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have always felt deeply compelled to give and that I have been given much by God. This is an area of my life I am constantly challenging myself to give more, give often, and give freely. I know I have much to give to the world and I owe that to God.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am alive because God showed mercy on me. Surviving a suicide attempt has given me a new perspective on how God gave me mercy. I feel convicted that because God has shown me mercy time and time again, it’s something I’ve learned through Him.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
