[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. sing/dance/Zumba (all things music and somewhat energetic)

2. be creative/work with my hands (crafting, refinishing furniture, painting, decorating, creating an atmosphere that is inviting)

3. spending time with family and friends (making memories and sharing laughs)

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I love the energy of younger people (teens/young adults); but enjoy working with all people who are encouraging, empowering, and able to think outside of the box.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Creative Worship Arts Ministry, finding creative ways to connect with the community, and sharing in the creating of the vision for the church are things that are exciting to me. Of concern is being sure that the truth is taught well and that it is done in a way that reaches everyone’s level of understanding.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was saved at a young age, but didn’t fully understand how to live a Christian life until I was a young adult. At that point, I began to grow through learning and serving at a new church. After having children, we returned to the church I grew up in and I continued to grow and serve even more. Through a period of deepening my relationship with God, I was called into ministry and have been pursuing His direction and growing deeper over the last several years.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

2016-current Mountain View Wesleyan
Connections Pastor-usher/greeter ministries, small group ministries, empowering leaders, preaching, community outreach

2002-2016 Bethany Wesleyan
Leadership in various ministries-childrens, worship, womens, fitness, small group leadership, teaching, youth

1990-2003 Calvary Baptist
Awana Cubbies/TnT Director, nursery coordinator, children’s ministries, other service as needed

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

renewed relationships

God’s strength in bringing me to victory in life situations

Being able to accomplish fitness goals that I’ve been told would not be possible

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Parent’s divorce as a child

Seeing family members making poor choices (against God’s ways) that have impacted themselves and others

Having a poor financial budget

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. plant a church

4. use fitness ministry as a means to reach people for Christ, possibly to have a church service in a gym

5. To be a creative worship arts pastor
