S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Landy Miyake for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

I was surprised that “Serving” was one of my top three gifts. I do enjoy serving however, I must admit that I am a bit picky in this department! I do pray often that God show me ways in which I can serve Him as I feel I don’t do enough of it.
[H]eart
1. Lead and inspire others to do better or more.
2. Train and educate people in ways that enhance or bring value to their lives.
3. Manage my money and actively work on my financial plan in order to accomplish all of my financial goals.
I love working with kind, respectful, ambitious individuals who know what they want and are going after it. I also enjoy people who are open to feedback and are “coachable”.
As much as I LOVE Grace Church, I really wish they would have more programs and ministry for young, single people. By young, I mean, people between the ages of 20-50. I am a single person and would love more opportunities to connect with people my age who are single.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I’ve believed in Jesus for as long as I can remember. I grew up Lutheran and had A LOT of questions as I was growing up…my relationship with God has definitely ebbed and flowed quite a bit over the years based on my attitude, beliefs and life circumstances but somehow, I am always lead back to Him.
Not much that I can recall, sadly..other than requirements for Confirmation. I helped out at Grace’s work day, though.
Graduating college with Honors
Being accepted into Mayo Clinic medical school where there was only 10 slots available
Getting married and divorced
Having a chronic pain condition
Getting divorced
Being adopted
