Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

there was an alter call at my boarding school church and I felt a warm welcoming pull on my heart and I accepted Jesus as my Savior with excitement and joy that was followed by peacefulness

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I was 17 and stayed at boarding school to help in the classrooms for grades K-12 for one year after graduating

I served as an elder in our former church for Sunday School, taking minutes for meetings, updating the web site and working quick books, and helping make corporate church decisions

Awana (1 semester): gathering attendance and memory verse data of recognition for presenter

Kid’s Club outreach (5 summers) 3 days a week and 4-7 consecutive weeks

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Becoming a student of Indian Bible College; finally being discipled and learning my identity in Christ while growing in biblical knowledge and learning to be an everyday Christian and finally building healthy relationships with new friends and at home. Being free from repetitive bondage of sin through guided and friend supported prayer and identifying abuse in my life and seeing how God can use it all

Being a part of the SOMA cell church Family and living out what it means to fail at being the body of Christ to one another and what it means to be the body of Christ for one another

Growing spiritually together with my husband while disciplining and teaching our children what’s right and working together to serve others and care for them

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Legalism and fake appearances living a Christian life by believing only what man says without confirming/comparing it to the bible and living by other’s convictions and guidelines made me feel that earning and keeping salvation was unattainable and has fed my fear and insecurities in my faith

being neglected physically and emotionally as a child helps me relate to the unsettledness and excessiveness of all the needs of a child and adults who carry these into adulthood creating the strong belief that I was unlovable, unacceptable, unimportant and almost always felt unsafe

unfaithfulness from my spouse created great distrust and confirmed all the lies I believed about myself which were birthed in my childhood and what seemed concreted in my faith now became a heartbreaking reality in what I believed was supposed to be the most sacred of relationships that I somehow ruined and brought about with my unworthiness and failure to be all my husband needed

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Family outrech and serving: Have a home and extra building with lots of parking to host SOMA’s needs

4. My husband and I being equipped and free to serve at IBC in many practical and deeply relational/spiritual ways for the sake of many others health and leadership

5. As a family to have great impact on other parents and their children to help stop unhealthy and damaging cycles of coping and parenting
