Thank you Laurie Eldridge for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I accepted Christ as a child while memorizing Bible verses with my mom. As a young adult, I rededicated my life to Christ and saw my need for baptism after experiencing divorce.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Children’s ministry (Preschool & grade school), Fox River Christian Church, 7 years

Divorce Care for Kids Ministry team lead, 2 years, Fox River

Other childcare, nursery- 5th grade, Fox River, Elmbrook

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I lived with a family from church for 4 years who were staff members, a pastor and children’s ministry director. My experience inside their home and family life set a positive example for me in living generously and serving sacrificially both at home and outside the home.

Received counseling support and mentorship which helped me grow closer in my walk with God.

Meeting my husband, the most generous person I’ve had the opportunity of knowing.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Divorce

Chronic illness

Loss of loved ones
