Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I don’t hardly remember a time when I wasn’t a Christian. I have been keenly aware of the awesomeness of God and his love all my life. Jesus has had His hand on me the entire time, and while I knew it, felt it and relied on it; however, only in the past 10 yrs have I opened my hands fully to Him in surrender.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Youth ministry support, Palm Bay Baptist, Palm Bay FL (now called Life Point Church) 2009 – 2010 approx.

Food ministry team, Faith Church, Brooksville FL 2017-19

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Marrying Russ Taylor and being loved by him unconditionally.

Attending Tony Evans’ church in college, back in the 80s. As his ministry began to grow so did my understanding of the Bible and my faith in the Lord! I owe a great deal to his ministry.

Seeing the Lord do mind-blowing, jaw dropping mini-miracles in my life (repeatedly!) that I cannot explain except that I know what I know what I know. It was God.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Cleaning houses all day and offices at night to make ends meet when Russ and I had no income.

10 years of my watching dad’s decline due to Alzheimer’s and being bedside at his death.

Care-taking for my mom during her battle with pancreatic cancer and being bedside with her when she died.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. It would be a dream if our gallery made enough money to support us financially. It is our “mission field” to speak to people about Jesus and I so enjoy all the opportunities it provides for meeting people and talking to them about their faith….or lack of it.

4. to volunteer for Samaritan’s purse and be a prayer warrior on their tours, work at the shoebox distribution center, or clean up crew during disasters

5. I’d have a huge garden and learn to grow crops and can vegetables to share in the community.
