This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I would rather teach a person and see them make a turnaround than be punished for a wrong. If they choose not to change, I am content to teach their victims how to rise above the wrong done to them and leave the wrongdoer to hopefully eventually change when their deeds fail to affect others anymore.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel great joy when I am able to solve the needs of others. I require only a fraction of the time/care/concern that I am willing and want to give to others.

I believe the truth of salvation and the hope in Christ really can ease the burdens of our present life. I also love to see someone lifted from a dark/low place.

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I felt inexorably drawn to committing to the Lord and after fellowshipping in a church for a few months I accepted Christ as my Lord.

Boulevard Baptist Church – Teacher in Children’s Ministry – about 1 year

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Me sharing my thoughts on communication in relationships (as shaped by the Word) and having someone come back and tell me it changed the way they viewed their own behaviour.

Someone I taught to tie his laces as a child told me years later that he remembers how I taught him and how patient I was with him.

I shared my experience of healing from my childhood of abuse and a coworker shared how she felt heard and understood.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My father was physically and verbally abusive and played mind games with me in my pre-teens and teens.

An adult lied to my father about something I never did knowing I would be beaten and another adult stole from me knowing I was not able to fight back.

I remember adults who would discuss how abusive my father was to me when he was not around but never spoke up for me in his presence.
