Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I came to Jesus 4 years ago when my husband and I were getting a divorce. My life started changing immediately after my first prayer. The Lord brought me through that difficult time. I found a home church, and I feel immersed in the christian life.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Valley Free church
Chaska, MN

I work in the toddler nursery once a month, I teach toddler Sunday school twice a month, and I participate in the bread ministry once a month

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I loved my grandparents very much and I have a special mercy and compassion in my heart for the elderly.

I went on a mission trip to Romania, and the Lord showed me how many hurting an broken people there are in the world.

My aunt was the first person to tell me that the bible was to be interpreted literally. Except the book of Revelation, found out that was not literal 10 years after the first time I read it.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I have had mental health problems since I was a child. I struggled with anorexia, depression, anxiety. I understand how it feels to have emotional anarchy. It’s very frightening. It makes me more patient with people I meet who are struggling with the crippling affects of mental illness.

My mother was very emotionally and verbally abusive. I was so scared of her. She would change. She would growl and spit and say the ugliest most hateful things. That kind of abuse is hard to overcome especially since she was still manipulating and controlling me as an adult. But as I read the bible I was struck by Jesus’s command to forgive. Over time I have forgiven my mom. I even gave her a bible that she’s reading now.

I was bullied in school. It was so painful. Really God can even remake that ugliness into something beautiful. I like to remind people that they are beautiful new creations in Christ.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. I would love to do more mission work and get my son involved in service

4. I’d like to work with elderly people. They need love and company. Most of all they need a cheerful and loving spirit around them.

5.
