Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I have always believed in God and involved in church. I was drawn to spiritual things but felt like there was something missing. I felt so alone even though I have a strong, close, loving family. One year when I was supporting a family member through a long illness, I would drive her to church and always attended the services with her. I was drawn to what the preacher preached and wanted the solid, unwavering faith in God that he had. I gave my heart to the Lord during this year. Looking back over my life, I know that God has sheltered me and was gently leading me even when I wasn’t aware of it.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

An uncle and aunt lent me the money for me to complete my bachelor degree when I didn’t have it. They believed in me and where willing to invest in me.

I spent one year in Australia working on a farm as an international exchange student. I met people from all over the world and developed a great love for the wonderful things that God created all around the globe.

One of my bosses encouraged me to step out in faith and start my own business. I learned that I was good at something and that I could succeed even when others where telling me the opposite.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Father died when I was young and our family had to pull tight together to remain as a family unit. I learned that when you work as a team, everyone is stronger and greater things are accomplished.

Lived in High River, Alberta when the 2013 flood occurred. I was terrified, felt so alone and so far out of my depth I didn’t know how things would ever work out. I saw the best of people when total strangers stepped in to help. I survived and am stronger because of it.

My younger sister and best friend was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was her primary support through the year long treatment and surgery. I learned a lot about medicine and my experience has helped me reach people I would never have been able to before.

Wrapping It Up

Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. An author who writes novels and non-fiction books that inspire, encourage and help believers and non-believers grow in faith

4. Work with government agencies to bring change to Calgary, Alberta and Canada that would improve people’s lives and demonstrate God’s love to the world

5. Travel the world, speak to large groups of people about God and HIS great love, acceptance and purpose
