This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I always believed in Jesus Christ, that he died for our sins, was resurrected and is seated at the right hand of the Father, but I had lost any focus on my religion. I was suffering from health issues, my doctor was over medicating me. My son got me going to church and on the last Sunday of December 2015, I was moved to go to the front and ask the Lord for forgiveness. After this, Christ became a regular part of my life.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My mother: converted to Catholicism when she married my Dad. My mother had a positive influence on my entire life, but particularly in molding me into the person I am today. A stranger never walked through her door and these wasn’t anyone she wasn’t willing to help.

My sons drug abuse and his ability to completely turn his life around and find Jesus Christ. He grew into the man a mother always hopes for in her sons. He turned into an excellent husband and father, was a deacon in the church, and made disciples any chance he had.

My daughter who is one of the most godly persons I know. Looking back on our children’s childhood, I only wish I was half the mother she is.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

A first marriage lasting 2.5 years that I was able to get annulled through the Catholic Church (no easy fate). He was abusive and hurtful and this experience taught me to be very careful of new relationships. We divorced, having one child I had sole custody of and he never paid a penny of child support. I have been married to my husband now for over 41 years and I couldn’t ask for a better man to stand beside.

A career that took me away from my family far too much. Foolishly, I put my career before the Lord and my family. I now know how incredibly wrong that was and the price I paid for that.

Physical restraints that have left me disabled. My loving husband and family who know just how to take care of me and to not focus on what isn’t working, rather focusing on what is working.

Wrapping It Up

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Providing for those that can’t provide for themselves

4. Help my daughter-in-law and 3 granddaughters with their grief in the loss of my son, their husband and father.

5. Minister to those in a nursing home that have no family or friend
