S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Lena Glaze for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I thrive on accomplishing tasks. If the tasks are associated with a person or group’s welfare, I am even more motivated to work and even more pleased when it is accomplished. I like knowing that I and others are cared for.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I like to know that the money I give will make an impact. I want to participate in God’s work in the world. I am very thoughtful about where and how I give, and I tend to gift most to needs that are clearly expressed.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love to express my study of and thoughts about a subject to an audience. I have excellent presentation skills, and I like connecting with people over a shared idea.
[H]eart
1. Organize, clean, and design a space that is functional, simple, and beautiful. I care very much about my personal (ie, home) environment, and I feel much more peaceful when that environment is ordered.
2. Nurture young people. Some of my most intense moments of joy have come when I work one-on-one with a young (12 years or under) person to feed, protect, or teach them. This kind of work exhausts me, but also provides much satisfaction.
3. Work. By that, I mean to accomplish concrete tasks, especially if they bring order and/or help someone else. I like to work outside and inside, cleaning, organizing, accomplishing a project or goal.
I like to work with children (12 years or younger), and college students. My background has made me most comfortable with middle-class, religious people.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
I grew up in a Christian home, and participated in a mature church body. I “said yes” to Jesus around the age of 10, but took ownership of my faith around 12. A daily devotional time soon became my habit.
Children’s Sunday School/Bible Club Teacher, First Presbyterian Church of Gulfport, present
ESL Instructor, First Presbyterian Church of Gulfport, 1 year.
ESL Co-Instructor, New City Fellowship East Lake, 1 year.
My 2-month missions internship in Ireland brought about heart-level changes in my understanding of grace, my ability to “press in” to community, and my confidence in God as my Shepherd. It also encouraged me to think further about long-term missions/ministry.
Attending Covenant College. I learned to think carefully, write well, and listen to people from different perspectives. My interest in global issues was heightened.
Homeschooling with Sonlight Curriculum. The rich assortment of literature enhanced my communication skills, gave me a compassion for the missionary call, and showed me the beauty and variety of world cultures.
Being put in charge of HLC’s office over the 2015/2016 winter. The deep stress of having many new duties while dealing with verbally-abusive supervisors broke me… and also made me more empathetic for co-workers and others who are in an authority position.
Being rejected and made the center of gossip by the girls in my church. It harmed my ability and desire to relate to people different from myself, but it also kept me from being negatively influenced by those girls’ lukewarm spirituality. I hate gossip and strive to avoid it.
Having chronic low back pain for 4-5 years. I understand how chronic pain taxes a person’s mental, emotional, and physical reserves.

1. My Relationship with GOD

- Everyone Else After those
3. To move to England to pursue theological study/ministry.
4. To set up a counseling service to help young people pay for and successfully finish college.
5. To become a mentor of international, college-aged women.
