Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

As I observed people whom I admired, who shared their faith in and reliance on Jesus, I became more aware of God’s presence in my life.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Heart of America Cursillo weekend in 1982 and subsequent weekends working with other Cursillistas and serving the candidates.

Working for 20+ years with many men and women, clergy and laity, across Missouri on the Board of the Missouri United Methodist Foundation.

Visiting and working with many church leaders and families to develop programs to encourage church members to include their church in their estate planning.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Working 3 years while in college to pay tuition and R&B helped me understand and admire people who work for what is important to them.

Living in the orient for 2 years helped me understand how it feels to be in the conspicuous minority and an alien in another country.

For several months I lived at a poverty level because I chose a job I loved but paid very little, which has helped me understand that having little money, living on food stamps, does not mean anyone has less value as a person.
