#3 Gift, Serving (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My role is directly related to serving. I love making things happen and making them the best they can be. I know I have this gift because it is hard for me to say the word “no”. I love pleasing those around me whatever it takes!

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was saved at a youth camp, after a wonderful week of services and a time of prayer/confession with a group of my guys. In that time is when I discovered that I needed to give everything to Christ and live for him!

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Cartersville First Baptist Church
Cartersville, GA
Tech/Media Director
2013-Present

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Meeting my wife and growing closer to her, which in turn grew me closer to God.

Coming from school and getting on the team here at CFBC.

Being in the close knit group of Godly friends all through school.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Seeing so many of my friends from school drop off after high school and just continuing to go down the wrong paths.

My parents being divorced since I was a baby has shown me many trials in my lifetime. However, at the same time it has taught me a lot about how to be a leader in my future family.

  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Serve those around me.

4. Be the best leader I can be in my career.

5. Use all of my gifts to honor God in any platform.
