S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Dee Ferguson for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. #1 Gift, Teaching (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Life experiences have taught me to see both sides of the coin. What God allows, He Redeems.

#2 Gift, Evangelism (75%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Life experiences have given me a firm foundation, because living in the flesh results in death. Living in the Spirit (light) gives life. I have lived both. I can relate to a person that is walking in darkness. Share with them the freedom and peace of living in the Light. It’s not a “one done” transformation. It’s a “One Day At A Time” walk with Christ. A relationship that offers New Mercies daily and Grace that is truly free and unmerited favor of God. We can NOT out sin GOD’s grace. It’s FREE!

#3 Gift, Administration (68%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I believe the treatment and instruction received as a child molded my work ethic. The harder I worked to achieve my goals resulted in gratitude and acceptance. Organization and Control gave me a sense of accomplishment.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Making other people feel good.

2. Doing for others without anything in return.

3. Event Planning; Parties, Receptions, Decorating for specific celebrations.T

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Teenagers, Young Adult Singles

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Hospitality, Connect Group in my Home, and being vulnerable enough to step out in faith to minister to those who have experienced the deep pain of loss. There is purpose in our pain. Pain gives birth to Glory. Glory out weighs our suffering. Trust God in the suffering. Suffering can NOT compare to HIS GLORY.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

The Holy Spirit called me to faith in Christ at age 9. Was raised in a Christian home and taught God’s word my entire childhood.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Taught Jr. High Girls Sunday School @ First Baptist Keller, TX

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Near death experience revealed to me that God is truly sovereign.

God’s power in answered prayer that changed the course of my son’s life.

In a failed marriage, God revealed to me, What God allows, God Redeems!

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Divorce does not define who you are in Christ.

Infidelity of my spouse did not define my worth. God validates my worth.

Watching my mother as she took her last breath on earth and entered into Glory will forever impact me. I felt her soul leave the room. God’s peace rushed over me and it truly was a peace that surpassed all human comprehension.

Wrapping It Up

  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. A Coffee Shop for support groups to meet.

4. A facility for Christian Bands to play on weekends

5. A weekly Bible Study held in my home.
