2. I love design; graphic, interior, photography, etc. I love being creative and using my designs to help the well-being of others.

3. I love being in the presence of friends. Simply talking to people I can connect with gives me so much joy and encouragement.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I enjoy working with people youth age and older. I like working with people who also have a desire to learn and educate themselves and/or others. I enjoy helping people understand they are not alone.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I love seeing how the church designs their services and experiences each week and what is involved. I love the aspect of problem solving that is needed to give everybody the best experience possible.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I would describe my adolescent relationship with Christ as “luke warm”. Once I started going to Bible Memory Camp and attending my youth group, I felt a desire and a pull to know Christ better, not because the adults in my life encourage me to, but because I truly wanted to.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Prayer Team at Grace Church – Berlin, OH – 6 years (current)

Stage/set Design at Grace Church – Berlin, OH – designer – 2015-2017; 2018-current

VBS – Grace Church – Berlin, OH – group leader / floater – 2012-2013

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Attending Bible Memory Camp growing up was an extremely influential part of shaping who I am.

Traveling to Amman Jordan in 2017 was incredibly eye-opening because it allowed me to see a new culture in a new way that is often perceived so negatively. The people that we visited were the kindest and most hospitable people that I have ever met. These people have shown me to see people for who they truly are and not how others perceive them to be.

Moving out my parents house and into another city was an extremely growing experience for me and taught me to be independent and mature.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

I was in a very unhealthy relationship that led to me constantly feeling insignificant and insecure. I never felt good enough and was always being run down.

I was once a part of a bible study with a group of people who made the study unintentionally exclusive. It was extremely discouraging to see people who were supposed to be inviting to all people treat people like they were beneath them.

College should have been a positive experience, but I did not enjoy it. I received plenty of backlash for being a Christian on a very secular campus. I had a hard time surrounding myself with a support network that accepted me for who I was and not feel judged.
