#1 Gift, Evangelism (100%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am not ashamed of the gospel. My desire is to be a light in a very dark/depressed word, offering hope & joy to those that have none.

#2 Gift, Teaching (96%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel the Lord has gifted me in a way to speak to others in clear/understandable language. I enjoy digging into the Word and sharing those truths with others to encourage them in their walk with Jesus. I am so blessed that the Lord uses this path so that He might speak to me first so that I can share those experiences with others.

#3 Gift, Prophecy (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Jesus was, is, and will come again… for people to hear, understand and act on this is my heart’s desire. To talk about His promises and His plans for us and our future is vital to know. I feel such a sense of urgency because the day is drawing nearer for Christ’s return.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

All my live I’ve been “churched” but never “Bibled” While in middle school, I heard of a relationship with Jesus. Accepted Him as Savior but didn’t really live for Him until I was a young adult (divorced /single mom) It’s been my passion since to serve Him fully with my life.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Hills Wesleyan Methodist Church – Australia (youth group leader / women’s Bible study) 3 years

Methodist Church – Hamilton, VA (lay leader, teen & adult Sunday School teacher) 4 years

Community Bible Study – as above

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Divorce (made me stronger & drew me closer to Christ)

Meeting / marrying my husband! (Richard)

Being a parent to 2 daughters (was finally able to feel / experience what God must feel when we break His heart as his disobedient children, yet still love and forgive them)

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Abusive first marriage

Feeling lost / confused as a high school student

Knowing God but not knowing how to live for Him on a daily basis due to lack of Biblical knowledge

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Be a speaker at women’s events to share my God-lessons & challenge them in their walk.

4. To reach teens in other countries with the hope, love & forgiveness of Jesus.

5. Just spend uninterrupted hours digging into God’s word while learning the customs/culture of the day so that the meaning of what I read really comes to life.
