S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Louisa Singh for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My parents were very open about their salvation. They were both incredibly down to earth. And watching them, combined with my deep compassion for people suffering, I feel this suits me very well. I would love to minister one day, but I often think I am too young, too busy, not Christian enough, or not enough of a leader. But I know God using the foolish things of the world to confound the wise and that He does not see as man sees. I have been through so much with God. I know He has a plan for all I have encountered. I will trust God to put me where I belong in our church, and in this world.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel a lot of mercy for people. Because their pain is something I can feel deep in my heart and soul. It can be a burden at times, because their pain is so real to me. I don’t want them to suffer, so I know our heavenly Father must feel that way even more than I do.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I enjoy encouraging others. It is amazing how a little encouragement can turn someone’s entire attitude around. I want others to feel amazing, because I know how it feels to be down or insecure or alone.
[H]eart
1. Care for my children and tea and husband, and teach my 3 children, whom I homeschool. I enjoy teaching them things I’ve learned through life experiences, or how to show compassion, or do the right thing when others don’t. I enjoy equipping them as much as possible to be strong leaders in this life, intelligent people with a strong faith in Jesus Christ.
2. Talking to God. I talk to Him every single day of my life. I need Him in everything I do. If I didn’t have Him, I would be nothing. I love connecting with Him through reading, praying, singing, or just being in His presence. He is the only reason I am alive. I often think of how thankful I am to have the life I have, because I do not deserve it without Christ.
3. I love music. I love to sing and dance. I’d love to have more time to learn worship songs on the piano and then sing them. IF it weren’t for music, life would be so dull!
I really enjoy working with everyone.
I was not raised in a church, so it’s hard for me to know how to insert myself into this question. I have never been able to change anything in a church, nor have I ever been a member of a church. I’d love to teach, or move people to Christ in a stronger way, but I have absolutely no idea how I could ever make that happen. I would love to go on a missions trip also, but have three small children.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I was raised a Christian. But it wasn’t until everything I thought I knew was on the line that I truly had to put my trust in Go. That is when I became a “real” Christian. I am lucky to even be alive. Or should I say, “blessed” to be alive! I was victimized by a man in my neighborhood and would later fall into a deep depression. I prayed often but I was still a whirlwind of a person. I met my husband and together he and I were faced with many, many obstacles. I was homeless before a relative took us in. God showed us mercy as we walked our Christian journey together. I faced many challenges and eventually struggled with anxiety for a few years. God’s word – His forgiveness and incredible love is what has pulled me out of every dark moment in my life. Our lives. And my husband, who was the answer to my prayer so many years ago, has been my rock for 15 years. Now my husband and I often dream of giving back to God. We try daily to be good witnesses to Christ. We know we would not be here without Him.
My mother’s and father’s faith.
Having my children.
Marrying my husband.
Rape.
Depression/anxiety/health problems
My mother’s death from stage 4 cancer.
