Thank you Mike Ciolek for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Came to know Christ my freshman year in high school. When my youth leader had a gospel presentation. After I was “saved” nothing changed. It was through seeking God in schripture and through intentional and relational investment by my youth pastor and senior pastor that any of it became real.

I was a depressed suicidal angry kid and by the grace of God I have been brought out of that mess.

God has used me since to help lead other students to him through my life experiences and relationship development

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Oasis Yuma az 6 years both a volunteer and as a youth pastor

Foothills southern baptist church
Volunteer for 10+ years as a volunteer leader

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

The string of leadership I have had in my life. These people have helped develop me into the man I have become today.

Traveling around with my band and leading worship and events for students.

Our engage student event

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My depression and suicide issues

Broken family

Failing in school
