[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. All things crafting; Knitting, crocheting, sewing, and using these skills to reach out to a community of people that otherwise I would have nothing in common with

2. Lead my team; My job brings me joy, the deployments are long, but seeing my team understand new concepts and being able to teach them is amazing

3. Care for others; whether it’s my dog, my family back home, or my friends.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

18-22 especially athletes, I feel like I am at an age where I am old enough to have lived a little, but young enough to relate. This group is typically driven to accomplish things.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

the music ministry. I feel like it sets the tone for the entire service and I love using my voice to serve.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

I grew up in church every Sunday, and with parents that taught me about Christ. I made the decision to accept Jesus at 6 years old after Vacation Bible school.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Worship team, Grace Community: 2013-2015, Detroit, MI

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Being taken in for the Holidays by a random girl at Church my first Christmas away from my family.

A mission team came to my church when I was 14, and we got to spend the week singing and learning and helping the church and community

My dad reading to me almost every night, and keeping an emphasis on Christ in everything, from what we watched on TV to how he coached my softball team

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My mom trying to take her own life by taking pills

Losing someone that was like my little brother to suicide when he was 16 in 2017

Having a three year relationship end with a one line email when I was deployed.
