#1 Gift, Evangelism (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I know what I have been saved from & I want others to know what Jesus has done for them also. I know God’s love for me & I want others to know His love too. This only comes through a personal relationship with Jesus.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Proverbs 18:21 (AMPC) Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life]. I have been verbally abused & been the abuser. Jesus saved me from the abuse I received & He broke the chains when I was abuser. Life is in God’s word. I want others to find life, so I want people to be encouraged by God’s word.

#3 Gift, Serving (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am a follower of Jesus Christ. He came to serve, not to be served. While I struggle in the flesh, I daily want to surrender to be in His service.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Through the ministry of Celebrate Recovery, I learned how to live in right relationship with God. I had struggled most of my life with abuse and character defects that kept in a “works based” perception of God. I had said “the repentant prayer” many times, but still fell back to works based religion. Through His grace, and this ministry, I surrendered my life and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I accepted God’s gift for salvation through Jesus Christ.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Celebrate Recovery – since 2016
Arise to Read – 1 year
5 Mission trips

GodWhy – Hendersonville, TN (attended 2010-2015)
Celebrate Recovery – about 18 months
