S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Marcella Moss for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
God has allowed me to go through some very painful experiences in life. I do not believe I would be here today without His hand on my life. With this process I believe He has changed my heartache and pain into compassion for others because of the mercy He has shown me.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have never had much in my life and have had to learn how to be creative in making ends meet or ‘making things work’. But the sadness, frustration, and even exhaustion were all a part of it. Often wondering why it was like that. Now when I see others hurting or struggling I want to give what I have, sometimes even my last of something because I know God will always provide.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
When I think of what Christ has done for me my heart cries for others that do not know Him. I know what it is like to live without Him and it is such a dark place. Knowing this I want others to know they do not have to stay in that dark place.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
I accepted Jesus into my heart as a child. In my late teens and young adulthood I tried to run from God every turn I could find. Sometimes close to losing my life. A few years ago after a diagnosis that has brought me to my knees I could only look to Him. In 2016 I was baptized and my desire to keep drawing closer to Him continues to grow.
Spending time with my grandma. She had such an energy for living and was not afraid to die. She would always say; “if I live, I get more time with my family. If I die, I get to be with Jesus. Either way I win.”
Going to youth group at the church my family went to. Many fun and loving experiences being part of the youth group
Having a father I didn’t get to see much due to mental illness.
Trying to kill myself at 16.
Being homeless with my young children
