S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Marie Greenhalgh for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was made acquainted with who Jesus was at age 5 or 6, and did accept him as Savior at that time. These last 5 years have been a continuing journey of the revelation of Who He is. Circumstances have seemed to mesh for me into a deeper faith and understanding in the visceral reality of blood atonement and Who our Creator is.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Champion Evangelical Free Church (Alberta) – musician

Hope Christian School (Alberta) – tutor and administrator

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Christian School and Home School

Meeting my husband in Victoria

Studying ancient history and reading through the Bible with my son.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

struggling with OCD and depression since 8 years old

experiencing stress and pressure in the workforce

having a son and husband who struggle with “autistic” traits
