Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in the church but after high school and falling in with the wrong crowd where I drank and smoked pot and cut myself I decided I needed a change. I redound Christ and him and my family are the only reason I’m here today after I tried committing suicide after being raped when I was 18! I know for a fact God was with me and pulled me out of it and not a day goes by that I don’t try and help those who went through something similar and praise God every minute for keeping me on this earth!

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I’ve served in the nursery at both my home church Living Creek Christian in Chicago Heights, IL for a couple years.

Working the nursery at Christian Church of Greenwood in Greenwood IN as a nursery aide and I had just started before we moved.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I was able to help a friend and counsel her through a tough time after she had been raped.

Same friend listed above asked for my help in presenting a speech about surviving rape because she was a guest speaker and wanted another perspective and what I thought would help others going through it.

I have many adopted cousins and I always want to show them how loved they are.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Being raped when I was 18

Loosing friendships because I follow Christ and live my life for him in all things and not my old life.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. I want to be a lactation consultant and help new moms with feeding their babies

4. Council teens and young adults through tough times

5. Loving on as many kids as I could to show them that no matter what their life looks like they are loved and are special!
